ABOUT BOOGIE
Yo! Yo! My name is Andrè, but some may know me better by my stage name Boogie. Growing up in the Erzgebirge (in the Eastern Part of Germany), my path first took me to the Schol of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden/Germany, where I completed my studies in communication design. In 2008 I moved my life to Switzerland and now live with my wife and Egon – our French bulldog – between Basel and Zurich as a self-employed graffiti artist and full-blooded hustler.

SLOVAKIAN ADVENTURES
During my last visit to the BRING THE PAINT Festival in Leicester/UK, I met Dali & Tomasz - two Slovaks who I had previously only seen as absolute graffiti legends: world travelers and super-pleasant contemporaries who you just can't help but take to your heart. We quickly realized that we seemed to be surfing the same wave and stayed in touch after the festival. At some point in early 2024, they asked me if I

L.A. – ALL NIGHT AND DAY
We never actually go on long trips when school holidays are in Germany or Switzerland. That's why we rarely travel during the height of summer and use the time before or after. This year we already knew that we would have a long "dry spell" over the summer and that we wanted to treat ourselves to something unusual and intense in the spring. However, for various reasons we only had a time window of a

NEW YEAR IN PUERTO RICO
A winter in Europe that isn't really getting going and two people who are yearning for some sun after a pretty intense year. So: get out the world map and see what's realistic for a 10-day escape from grey dreariness! We were pretty flexible with the destination and both knew what we didn't want: lots of tourists. The flight prices to the sun are mostly outrageously expensive, especially around the turn of the year, and

BACK IN MEXICO CITY
On my first visit to Mexico City, I met GERSO on the last day, an incredibly quiet, nice but busy local writer who is also the organizer of the Meeting of Styles Mexico. He told me that there were some problems for this year's meeting and that they had not yet been able to find a can sponsor for the event. I offered to put him in touch with MONTANA CANS in Heidelberg/GER - but

The Zandvoort Experience
Although I had painted the show car for the Alfa Romeo F1 Team and designed a lot of merchandise, watching a race live remained elusive to me until August. Then came the big bang and it was like: Grand Prix of Holland - Boogie, do you have time? It seemed like they were planning something bigger with me, so in the weeks leading up to the race weekend, I had a lot of work to

MAGIC ICELAND
Originally, we were supposed to go to magical Naples at the beginning of September to celebrate my better half's birthday with my friend Cayo and his girlfriend and to explore the area with real locals. However, as we had to cancel this plan at very short notice for understandable reasons, I decided to surprise my wife with a different destination that she hadn't even considered. It should be mentioned that she is often the one
